Not the best way to start the season, but it’s a good way to see what we have to do to make improvements.

Tuncurry seemed to do all of the small things right.

Their forwards and strikers were looking, not only for our net, but for each other, and they seemed to be everywhere. Just try and picture what they were doing . Snappy 1-2s, controlling the ball and looking for each other. Exactly what we have been talking about and drilling at training.

It was really good to see lots of our players putting in for the entire game. It’s not that we gave up, but they were simply stronger on the day.

The best part is, we know that we can match it with this standard of football!!!

In our trial game against Wildcats,  we got to 3-3, Wildcats finished ABOVE Tuncurry.

Strong games from the 2T’s Talara and Tahlia and a cool 2nd chance spot goal to Gus.
