Games cancelled due to wet weather.

All Mid North Coast Football games have been canceled for this weekend due to the amazing amount of rain we have had.

The games will probably be rescheduled for later in the season.

I’ll keep posting updates here as I find out.

Dark Training . . . .

Our first under lights training for the year, and gee it made a difference! It’s like the season has really started.

It seems that everyone was really switched on, looking around the field for passes, lots of laughing, friendly digs and just a good vibe.

Keep it going next week and I’m sure it will transfer into actual games.

The skills and passing are there, just need to remember and not get flustered on gameday.

Game postponed

I hope I got to everyone yo let them know about today’s game being postponed due to ground closure. It will be rescheduled for later on in the year

We will be having training during the holidays this year. This is a bit different from previous years so make sure you are there - 5.30 -7.00pm at Cundle Oval.

Also, a new clip of some spectacular goals. Just watch some of them bend!

Washing Jumpers :-l

This year, each family will be asked to wash dry and fold the jumpers, and return them to training on Wednesday evening.

Jumpers will be washed in line with your child’s jumper number, so for Round 1, it will be Nicholas’ turn to take them home (hope that’s OK).

Families with more than 1 player will only have to wash jumpers once (Brad/Emily, Nicholas/Dan).

Jumper washers will be listed here before the game so you know when its your turn (gee exciting post this time eh!)

Remember, no clothes dryers please - otherwise the jumper might only be good for the under 7s

Our first game is this Saturday, against the Tuncurry Forster Tigers - an away game for us first up.

Its a 10.00am start so you must be at the game before 9.30am (or a bit before would be great)! Its at Lake Street Field 2.

Welcome to the Cundletown Jets Blog!

It has been great to see lots of familiar faces, as well as some new ones for 2008!

It’s great to welcome all the new members of our team.

 Cliff, our coach, has some great ideas and strategies to bring out the best in each of you!  Listen carefully, follow his advice and believe that you can do your best in every way.

This week, focus on trapping and keeping the ball close and in control, also, look around for each other

A special welcome also to Talara and Tahlia.  I am sure that Emily and Steffanie will enjoy having a few more girls on the team - watch out guys! 

Remember, training starts on Wednesday at 5.30pm through until 7.00pm from now on.

We’ve had the training, we’ve had the trial match, now its time to get down to business.
